It is with deep sorrow that we wish to inform you of the passing of Mr. Leslie Mound, beloved husband of Gloria Mound.

The Haskarah (Memorial Service ) for our  Dearly Beloved  Husband  and Father, Leslie, will be on  Friday, January 28th at 11.am at Gan Yavneh.

About Leslie Mound

Leslie was born in  London, UK, in 1921. His father died when he was 2 years old.

He served in the RAF during most of the war.

He was a descendant from one of the original Spanish and Portuguese  Marrano families that settled in London in 1656 and formed Bevis Marks Community.

Leslie and Gloria we were married more 62 years.

Yours and Leslie's work is immensely powerful and forever lasting.  For me, deep down, it's about embracing the Light inside my heart and  the hearts of so many souls all over the world. Yours and Leslie's  energy, and inner beauty is alive in my heart, the hearts of many  others, our children and onto their future off springs..In this way,  your joint efforts, has touched, continue to touch and will carrying  on touching not only the Jewish communities' eternal journey, but the  eternal journey shared by all humanity.

In the name of my ancestors, myself, my son and potential future generations, I'm forever grateful to you, Leslie and your amazing  team for your all your support.

Note from Gloria Mound (Jan 5th, 2011)

This is hopefully going to be my first  full day back in the Office  and on behalf of all of us, wish thank you for all your kind  words,  visits,  phone calls, and kindnesses  to stay in touch over so  many weeks, exceptional supportso appreciated by  myself and my family at this sad time.

I will do my  utmost to carry on, as my Dearest Husband wished. Sadly, Leslie did  not live to see the wonderful merger that is about to take place between Casa Shalom with Netanya Academic College and the  magnificent Library that is going up in our names, expected to be  ready in 6 weeks.

Three times  the present size of the beautiful one  we have now. Truly I will need  the continued support of all my Dear Family and Friends and members, to carry out his wishes.

Former Israel President Navon and High Court Judge Shamgar are to be joint Presidents. The building is expected to be finished 6 weeks time (about March 2011).

The new Library is  to be in our joint names, Leslie and Gloria Mound.  Our actual  merger with Netanya Academic College and celebrationary International Conference is due for June 2011.
